Abstract

În acest eseu ne propunem să subliniem rolul vizitelor de documentare în cadrul programelor de formare continuă a specialiștilor din biblioteci. Ca alternativă de formare continuă, Biblioteca Centrală Universitară "Carol I" derulează un program anual de vizite documentare la muzeele din București, pentru a observa și analiza din punct de vedere istoric, biografic, literar, artistic și științific, modul în care a evoluat spiritualitatea românească la nivel național, dar și în afara granițelor. Ca metodă de instruire inițială pentru înțelegerea moștenirii naționale, vizitele profesionale la instituții culturale permit descoperirea categoriilor de colecții, structura și valoarea lor pedagogică în procesul de învățare, predare și formare.
