365 de ani de la tipărirea Pravilei lui Vasile Lupu (1646)

Abstract

Traducerea şi tipărirea în secolul al XVII-lea a primelor texte juridice româneşti se impun cu necesitate pentru vremurile respective când reprezentanţii bisericii nu aveau un cod scris pe care să se bazeze în judecarea pricinilor, cutuma jucând rolul principal. Având în vedere că în 2011 se împlinesc 365 de ani de la tipărirea Pravilei lui Vasile Lupu am considerat ca oportună abordarea acestui subiect. Valoarea Pravilei lui Vasile Lupu constă în faptul că este prima legiuire laică din Moldova tipărită în limba română şi că este primul cod de legi românesc aprobat de către autoritatea domnească. În acelaşi timp este un monument al limbii şi culturii româneşti din prima jumătate a secolului al XVII-lea
