Abstract

O instituţie unică prin structură, organizare, colecţii şi vechime, Biblioteca Centrală a Universităţii de Medicină şi Farmacie “Carol Davila” - Bucureşti se evidenţiază la nivelul organizaţiilor biblioteconomice româneşti prin amploarea activităţii sale de informare pusă în slujba utilizatorilor din lumea medicală, dar şi prin acţiunile de colaborare cu instituţii similare. Articolul prezintă aspecte din evoluţia acestei biblioteci şi schimbările implementate recent la nivelul serviciilor oferite utilizatorilor
