Implicaţiile apariţiei tiparului în spaţiul românesc

Abstract

În contextul general al tiparului chirilic european, tiparul din Ţara Românească se situează la loc de frunte, reflectând un grad înalt de dezvoltare culturală, un nivel şi o tradiţie care merită o atenţie specială. Un fapt de cultură, ca înfiinţarea tipografiei, nu poate fi studiat independent de nevoile societăţii din acea vreme. Apariţia tiparului chirilic în Ţara Românească a constituit o parte integrantă a unui fenomen european, o reflectare a acestuia pe plan local şi nicidecum o apariţie izolată, întâmplătoare, ruptă de dezvoltarea culturală europeană.
