Abstract

Articolul este un eseu despre bibliografie, despre puterea şi valoarea acesteia. Universul bibliografiei perceput din perspectiva informaţională dezvăluie nivelele de reprezentare referitoare la: tezaurul bibliografic; suportul informaţiei bibliografice; organizarea şi comunicarea informaţiei bibliografice; utilizatorii bibliografiilor. Printr-o abordare gnoseologică, aria de competenţă a bibliografiei se situează la nivelul întregii cunoaşteri umane, iar funcţia sa referenţială se regăseşte în gestionarea eficientă a pluridimensionalităţii informaţiilor.
