Súčasný Protekcionizmus – Obchodná Vojna Usa Vs. Ostatný Svet

Abstract

Príspevok sa zaoberá problematikou obchodnej vojny medzi USA a ostatným svetom. USA ako najväčšia a najvyspelejšia ekonomika dosahujú chronický deficit bežného účtu platobnej bilancie. Americký prezident Donald Trump uplatňuje na ochranu amerických výrobcov najmä hutníckych výrobkov protekcionistické opatrenia. Postihnuté štáty prirodzene zavádzajú na americké zvýšené dovozné clá retorzné opatrenia. Obmedzuje sa vzájomný obchod aj keď s výnimkami. Protekcionizmus má krátkodobé pozitívne účinky pre obmedzený počet ekonomických subjektov (zvýšenie objemu výroby, zvýšenie zamestnanosti), dlhodobé negatívne účinky sú však ďaleko rozsiahlejšie pre národné ekonomiky i svetovú ekonomiku ako celok.
