Abstract

Predkladaný článok sa zaoberá analýzou vzájomných hospodárskych vzťahov medzi EÚ a USA v súčasnosti a v nedávnej minulosti. Na základe údajov z EUROSTATU je preskúmaný obchod s tovarom a so službami medzi EÚ a USA, ako aj ich vzájomné investície. Bližšia pozornosť je venovaná najmä pripravovanej dohode o voľnom obchode medzi EÚ a USA - Transatlantickému partnerstvu v oblasti obchodu a investícií a obzvlášť jej možným vplyvom na súčasnú úroveň vzťahov medzi partnermi ale aj jej vplyvu na iné časti svetového hospodárstva.
