Postavenie jednotnej meny v teoretických koncepciách európskej integrácie a menová spolupráca v Európe

Abstract

V súčasnom období dlhovej krízy sa otvára otázka funkčnosti Európskej menovej únie. Hovorí sa heterogenite ekonomík, ktorá ohrozuje celý projekt spoločnej meny. Úvahy o zavedení jednotnej meny v Európe majú dlhú tradíciu a zároveň mali dostatok priestoru na svoje realizovanie. Predovšetkým ak zohľadníme ciele teoretických prístupov k integrácii, zároveň ak sa pozrieme sa do ekonomickej histórie európskeho kontinentu, nájdeme príklady spolupráce a efektívne fungujúcich menových únií. Zámerom predkladaného príspevku je určiť, ktoré teórie európskej integrácie uvažovali o zavedení jednotnej meny. Súčasťou príspevku je aj exkurz do histórie Európy, kde nájdeme dostatok príkladov úspešnej spolupráce európskych štátov, ktoré boli inšpiráciou pre formovanie samotných teórií európskej integrácie.
