Transformácia spoločného trhu európskeho hospodárskeho spoločenstva na jednotný trh európskej únie

Abstract

Článok sa zaoberá transformáciou spoločného trhu EHS na jednotný trh EÚ. V úvode je pozornosť venovaná definícii spoločného a jednotného trhu z pohľadu teórie ekonomickej integrácie, s poukázaním na riziká, ktoré spoločný a jednotný trh prináša. Jadrom článku je vývoj realizácie ekonomických slobôd v procese transformácie spoločného trhu na jednotný trh, s definovaním aspektov, ktoré obmedzujú ich uplatňovanie v praxi. Jednotný trh ani v súčasnosti nie je úplne dokončený. V rámci voľného pohybu tovaru, služieb, osôb a kapitálu stále pretrvávajú prekážky, ktoré často vytvárajú samotné členské štáty Únie. Potvrdzuje to aj Európska komisia vo svojich dokumentoch, pričom zdôrazňuje potrebu neustálej adaptácie jednotného trhu vzhľadom na súčasnú hospodársku realitu.
