Liberalizácia sieťových priemyselných odvetví v Európskej únii

Abstract

V súvislosti s programom dobudovania jednotného trhu Európskej únie začala Európska komisia na začiatku 90. rokov 20. storočia razantnejšie presadzovať liberalizáciu sieťových priemyselných odvetví. Vzťahuje sa to predovšetkým na telekomunikácie, trh s energiami (elektrina a zemný plyn), poštové služby a dopravu. Tieto odvetvia boli tradične chránené vládami členských štátov Únie pred konkurenciou z dôvodu ich ekonomického významu a v mnohých prípadoch tu úplne alebo čiastočne prevládalo vlastníctvo štátu. Súčasný vývoj liberalizácie sieťových priemyselných odvetví ukazuje, že napriek snahe Komisie nebol tento proces doposiaľ ukončený. Článok je venovaný analýze vývoja procesu liberalizácie uvedených sektorov a súčasným trendom, ktoré v tejto oblasti presadzuje Európska komisia.
