The Beginning Of The Migration Of Jews To Palestine As A Reaction On The Growing Anti-Semitism In Europe In The Second Half Of The 19th Century

Abstract

The Palestinian problem, which has entered history as a Palestinian question, lasts more than hundred years. The beginning of this problem dates back to 1918, when the Ottoman Empire after World War I decayed and the administration of Palestine was given to the hands of the UK. But this picture is not true. What we are witnessing today did not begin in Palestine in the early 20th century but in Europe in the 19th century. Therefore, the presented article returns to the roots of this complicated problem. The text contains the part of the history from which resulted the start of the settlement of Palestine territory by European Jews. The aim of this work is to contribute to better knowledge of the history of Palestine, Israel and also the Middle East.
