Science And Research Costs In The Oecd States In The Context Of Income Inequality

Abstract

The aim of our contribution is to find out if the countries that support more the development and science belong to the most equal countries in the OECD area, and vice versa. The research has been done through the analysis of Gini index and Gross Expenditures on Research and Development. The hypothesis, the countries that support the research and science the most, belong to the most equal countries in the OECD area and vice versa, has not been confirmed.
