Rozdiely Medzi Britským A Francúzskym Kolonializmom V Subsaharskej Afrike

Abstract

Cieľom príspevku je porovnať vplyv britského a francúzskeho kolonializmu na súčasnú situáciu v štátoch subsaharskej Afriky. Príspevok sa v prvej časti venuje doterajším prácam zaoberajúcim sa odlišným dopadom koloniálnych mocností na súčasnú situáciu v bývalých kolóniách. V druhej časti príspevku testujeme tri hypotézy stanovené na základe preštudovanej literatúry. V oboch častiach príspevku sa sústredíme na oblasti demokracie, ekonomickej úrovne a úrovne vzdelania. Na základe výsledkov konštatujeme, že vo všetkých skúmaných oblastiach vykazujú bývalé britské kolónie v subsaharskej Afrike lepšie hodnoty ako bývalé francúzske kolónie.
