GEOPOLITICKÉ ASPEKTY NOVEJ HODVÁBNEJ CESTY V LATINSKEJ AMERIKE 2. časť

Abstract

Latinská Amerika v podstate absentuje v oficiálnych, čínskych diskusiách o Novej hodvábnej ceste. Počas svojej návštevy regiónu v júli 2014, prezident Xi Jinping verejne nespomenul Novú hodvábnu cestu, ako tomu bolo v prípade jeho návštev krajín Južnej Ázie a Európy v danom roku. Na základe mapy zverejnenej štátnou tlačovou agentúrou Xinhua v auguste 2014, Nová hodvábna cesta nezahŕňa región Latinskej Ameriky. Lenže ani toto neodradilo niektorých čínskych komentátorov od používania termínu Nová hodvábna cesta pri opisoch a analýzach čínskej politiky voči Latinskej Amerike. Veľká stratégia Novej hodvábnej cesty spočíva v uľahčení globálneho obchodu prostredníctvom strategicky vybudovaných infraštruktúrnych projektov naprieč Európou, Áziou a východnou Afrikou. Avšak zatiaľ len neformálne sa do tohto projektu Peking snaží zahrnúť aj Latinskú Ameriku. Dôkazom sú nedávne čínske záväzky ohľadom projektov ako výstavba bioceánskej železnice v Južnej Amerike a som toho názoru, že sem môžeme počítať aj výstavbu Nikaragujského prieplavu v Strednej Amerike.
