Hodnotová Stabilita Štátov Strednej A Východnej Európy

Abstract

Slovensko a viaceré ďalšie krajiny strednej a východnej Európy dnes čelia neobvyklej výzve. Tieto krajiny potrebujú nájsť vnútornú silu na potvrdenie svojich liberálno-demokratických hodnôt. V opačnom prípade im hrozí destabilizácia novými požiadavkami na znovuotvorenie problematických otázok identít, či charakteru režimu. Nové internetové masmédiá odmietajú zavedené dimenzie politických konfliktov a prezentujú problémy spoločnosti ako dôsledok základných charakteristík ekonomického a politického systému. Politické elity aj spoločnosť ako celok by mali byť schopné na takéto jednanie sebavedomo reagovať. V opačnom prípade si musia byť vedomé, že pasívnym prístupom umožňujú vnesenie týchto nových sporov do politického života, čo prinesie dlhodobé náklady pre celú spoločnosť.
