Abstract

The article deals with the study of the functioning of linguistic units, which has become widespread in linguistic research. The need to study the functioning of phraseological units (hereinafter Ph.U) is characterized by many researchers of phraseology, who point out that the specificity of Ph.U cannot be fully revealed without studying them in speech use. This article is an attempt to study the functioning of V.Ph.Us of a language of one structural type from the point of view of the peculiarities and regularities of their inclusion in speech. The tasks of the study include both the analysis of structural-semantic peculiarities of PFEs and all kinds of contexts in which the realization of compositional PFEs takes place.
