Abstract

Marina Tsvetaeva, one of the prominent Russian poets of the 20th century, utilized root repetition as a means of expression in her lyrics. Root repetition plays a significant role in creating emotional richness, enhancing the philosophical depth and melody of her poems. In her poetry, root repetition performs world-creating, meaning-creating, and style-creating functions, forming complex images and conveying the poet's inner experiences. Tsvetaeva actively employed metaphors, comparisons, alliterations, and personifications to emphasize her emotional states and create vivid poetic pictures. The combination of root repetition with various linguistic techniques enhances the expressiveness and originality of her poetic style.
