Abstract

A flat transfer directly via iPad, the presentation of information on digital domestic codes in staircases or the communication with grandchildren or the general practitioner via Skype in the living room – szenarios which are present today. The digital world, consisting of data lines and mobile devices, affects our society and many domains of the housing industry. Digital hard- and software can contribute to process optimization or the creation of new processes and business models. Digitization adds essentially to the future development of Saxonian housing cooperatives, too. It has to be weighed regularly at the same time which processes are reasonable and which are not.
