Genossenschaftsmanagement im Spannungsfeld zwischen Mission und Ökonomie

Abstract

In vielen Genossenschaften wird im Verlaufe ihres Bestehens irgendwann einmal die Frage aufgeworfen, warum sind wir überhaupt eine Genossenschaft und wäre eine Umwandlung in ein profitorientiertes Unternehmen mit Rechtsform einer AG oder einer GmbH nicht zweckdienlicher? Diese Diskussion wurde in der Schweiz beispielsweise auch bei Mobility CarSharing geführt, der jüngsten Erfolgsgeschichte des Schweizer Genossenschaftswesens. Der Artikel beleuchtet die Grundzüge des Spannungsfelds zwischen Mission und einer sich einseitig an einer Marktlogik orientierenden Ökonomie einer Genossenschaft und die damit verbundene Rolle des Managements.
