Regionalgeld-Initiativen als Genossenschaften?

Abstract

Regionalgeld-Initiativen tragen dazu bei, die regionalen Wirtschaftskreisläufe zu stabilisieren, Kaufkraft in den Regionen zu binden oder sogar zu erzeugen, wenn ein Tauschring eingebunden ist. Bisher sind die Träger der Regionalgelder als Vereine tätig. Mit den Änderungen des deutschen GenG vom August 2006 ist die eingetragene Genossenschaft als Rechtsform attraktiv(er) geworden und wurde Anfang 2007 bereits von einer Regionalgeld-Initiative gewählt. Was sich hinter „Regionalgeld“ verbirgt und welche Rolle dabei die Trägergesellschaft spielt, wird im Folgenden vorgestellt.
