Abstract

Today, the question of poverty is primarily perceived as a problem of state distribution and control, hardly as a comprehensive task of economic order with the aim of increasing prosperity in general, as happened 70 years ago – with a successful monetary and economic reform in the understanding of the social market economy. Meanwhile, the principles of this economic system largely fallow. What do we learn from this and what are the prospects for the future – especially for Europe?
