The role of clusters in economics development of regions

Abstract

Creating clusters is a tool of economy management, which is recommended also by the European Union. Attention is focused mainly on regional industrial branch, whose development is kept under review. The cluster enhances the competition ability of small and large enterprises and makes better position in the international market for them. In the region of South Bohemia clusters of water-supply technologies, wood-processing industry, renewable sources and biotechnologies are being prepared. Creating of a cluster for civil engineering is also being considered. There is a possibility to obtain experience from Upper Austria, where clusters have been used, eventually we can reason cooperation in this field.
