Ecolabelling programme of the Czech Republic - grant project CBC Phare

Abstract

The survey and the international workshop supported by CBC Phare and realized in cooperation with the Agency for environmentally friendly products within the Czech Institute of Ecology and the Johannes Kepler Universitat Linz - Institute für Betriebliche und Regionale Umweltwirtschaft was focused on the analysis of the relations of particular market subjects to the application of ecolabelling and the frame comparison of Czech and Austrian territories. The survey has proved that the willingness to produce, sell and buy environmentally friendly products in the Czech Republic exists, but very important question is the harmonization of interests of particular parties, all this being coordinated mainly by the state.
