Foreign-language terminilogy harmonization of communication in the agrarian foreign trade

Abstract

The Language Department has again participated in the research project of the Department of Agrarian Economics at the Faculty of Management and Economics, CUA Prague, called Effective Integration of Czech Agrarian Sector into the Framework of European Structures - Prerequisite of Sustainable Development. Language Dpt has been contributing to this project by research in the field of economic terminology harmonization of communication. It concentrates on translating professional Czech word-stock so that specialized comprehensive dictionaries can be issued eventually, at the end of the research period. This particular contribution contains preliminary results of the 4th stage: Competitiveness of Czech Agrarian Products on Foreign and Domestic Markets, especially the terminology of the agrarian foreign trade.
