Abstract

The segmentation of the market is a corner stone of the marketing management. The principal is the choice of the homogeneous groups of the customers. We made the research by the public inquiry between tire respondents in the České Budějovice district for the specification of the some non-price criterions of the segments. We tried to find if the respondents choose the foodstuff according the sonic principles and what is the main reason for it. 126 respondents from 140 choose the foodstuff according the some system (it is 90 %). The respondents choose the foodstuff mainly according the taste, than they prefer white meal and keep from the foodstuff containing white sugar or salt and or food from tins. The reason for this system of choice is it that the respondents try to be slim and try not to burden their organism.
