The diameter distribution analysis of uneven aget beech forest stands on southwestern side of Ukrainian Carpathians

Abstract

The distribution of the diameter of beech forest stands were investigated using terrestrial sample plots. Further, the biometrical parameters of tree diameter series were analyzed. The parameters of the diameter distribution functions were estimated and the distribution functions were fitted. Then the quality of the fitting was evaluated.
