Abstract

Despite the relatively low number of Ussuri racoon in the central-western regions of the Ukrainian Forest-steppe, with a tendency for further reduction, the number of animals on the left bank of the region from the beginning of the XXI century and to this day it is experiencing dynamic growth. This should be regarded as an undesirable trend, taking into account the generally recognized harmful nature of and the need for its complete eradication on the European continent, approved by Ukraine
