El canal del crédito, un enfoque semi estructural

Abstract

El propósito de la presente investigación es modelar el canal del crédito de transmisión de la política monetaria en la economía boliviana, a través de un modelo semi estructural de brechas en el que se incluye un bloque financiero, regla de política de agregados y tipo de cambio fijo, para capturar, de mejor modo, las características de la economía boliviana. A través de este, se llega a la conclusión de que la inclusión del bloque financiero, por medio del crédito, hace más dinámica e intensa la respuesta de la política monetaria a distintos shocks, haciendo que los efectos de estos sobre la inflación se disipen antes y sean menores, mientras que son más persistentes al actuar sobre la brecha del producto.
