Abstract

La importancia de las variables relacionadas con el cambio climático en la economía global se centra en los combustibles fósiles como principal fuente de energía, emitiendo cantidades sustanciales de dióxido de carbono (CO2) lo que contribuye al cambio climático. La presente investigación desarrolla el primer modelo de Equilibrio General Estocástico Dinámico-Medioambiental para Bolivia, revelando que los incrementos en la producción de energía fósil pueden tener efectos negativos al reducir la eficiencia de la producción y amenazar la estabilidad financiera. Este resultado genera la necesidad de abordar integralmente los impactos económicos del cambio climático y la energía fósil en Bolivia.
