Abstract

Efficiency research in forestry In this and in a preceding paper (Statistica Neerlandica 13 nr 2) some applications of statistical methods in forest research, particularly in the field of rationalization of forest‐labour, are described. In the first article comparative investigations of hand‐tools and working‐methods used in the planting of pine forests are discussed, in this second paper the composition of a measured time‐tariff for felling, lopping and barking of Scotch pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) is described.
