Abstract

type="graphical" xml:id="gpol12100-abs-0002"> This paper sets out some current dimensions of the political evolution of international education which has become one of the world's great export commodity. The focus is on the emerging gap between recruitment and immigration policies, on the one hand, and the impact of those contradictions on source countries of students and the increasingly international nature of the academic workforce.
