Abstract

Bài viết sử dụng số lượng người sử dụng Internet và số thuê bao băng thông cố định đại diện cho số hóa để đánh giá thực nghiệm ảnh hưởng của dòng vốn trực tiếp nước ngoài (FDI), số hóa, và tương tác của chúng lên thất nghiệp cho một nhóm 32 nền kinh tế đang phát triển ở Châu Á trong giai đoạn từ 2002 đến 2020. Bài viết áp dụng phương pháp Generalized Method of Moment sai phân và phương pháp Pooled Mean Group. Các kết quả chỉ ra dòng vốn FDI làm giảm và số hóa làm tăng thất nghiệp, nhưng tương tác của hai biến này lại làm giảm. Ngoài ra, độ mở thương mại, tăng trưởng kinh tế, và quản trị công đóng vai trò quyết định của thất nghiệp ở các nền kinh tế này. Các khám phá đề xuất một vài hàm ý cho các nền kinh tế này trong việc phát triển công nghệ số nhằm tiếp nhận nhiều dòng vốn FDI và tạo nhiều việc làm.
