Mức độ thông tin bất cân xứng: Minh chứng từ các công ty niêm yết trên sở giao dịch chứng khoán TP.HCM

Abstract

Nghiên cứu được thực hiện nhằm xác định mức độ thông tin bất cân xứng đại diện qua thành phần lựa chọn ngược (Adverse Selection Component - ASC) trên thị trường chứng khoán Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh (TTCK TP.HCM) giai đoạn từ 01/12/2012 đến 31/5/2013. Sử dụng phương pháp định lượng theo ba mô hình của Glosten và Harris (1988); Lin, Sanger và Booth (1995); và Kim và Ogden (1996), kết quả nghiên cứu cho thấy ASC trên TTCK TP.HCM nằm trong khoảng 69% đến 77% chênh lệch giữa giá đặt mua và giá đặt bán (Bid-Ask Spread). Đối chiếu với kết quả nghiên cứu trước, ASC có giảm ở TTCK TP.HCM nhưng hầu như ở mức cao so với TTCK nước ngoài.
