Parcellary Mapping of Titled and Untitled Lands in the Municipality of Bambang Province of Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines

Abstract

This study took place between March and June 2023 in the Municipality of Bambang, Nueva Vizcaya, with a specific focus on profiling titled and untitled lands in the area. The research examined the classification, location, area, and mode of titles for titled lands in Bambang. Additionally, it investigated the classification, location, area, mode of possession, lot status, for untitled lands. Moreover, maps were generated in conjunction with a geographic information system to identify titled and untitled lands in Bambang. The study utilized a combination of quantitative and qualitative methodologies. To map the titled lands and to determine their spatial distribution, Quantum Geographic Information System (GIS) techniques were applied.
