Negotiated wage increases for 2025: where do we stand?

Abstract

Following the downturn in inflation and smaller increases in the Smic (national minimum wage), negotiated wage increases moderated in 2024 while staying above inflation. The first agreements signed for 2025 point to increases of around 2% on average at both industry and firm levels, or markedly higher than inflation. Dans le sillage du reflux de l’inflation et de moindres hausses du Smic, les hausses de salaire négociées se sont modérées en 2024 tout en restant au-dessus de l’inflation. Les premiers accords signés pour 2025 signalent en moyenne des hausses de salaire proches de 2% dans les branches comme dans les entreprises, soit sensiblement supérieures à l’inflation.
