Les Français s’intéressent-ils à l’économie ?

Abstract

Depuis 2012, la Banque de France fait réaliser un sondage sur les Français et l’économie qui est présenté à l’occasion des Journées de l’économie de Lyon. Le sondage 2019 portait sur plusieurs sujets, certains récurrents comme l’intérêt des Français pour l’économie, d’autres plus d’actualité comme les réformes économiques en France, l’impact des nouvelles technologies sur l’emploi et les défis induits par le changement climatique. Cette enquête met principalement en évidence le besoin de renforcer les actions de pédagogie économique — afin de réduire les inégalités traditionnelles liées aux niveaux de revenu, de diplôme et de position dans la société — et la nécessité d’accroître l’information et la communication de façon à éclairer les débats économiques. Pour la Banque de France, c’est aussi une motivation supplémentaire pour développer ses différents programmes d’éducation financière, mais également pour faire connaître d’autres actions sociétales, par exemple en faveur du verdissement du secteur financier.
