Les structures de production et les rapports de force figent la situation en matière de délais et de retards de paiement

Abstract

En 2018, les délais de paiement s’établissent à 44 jours de chiffre d’affaires pour les délais clients et à 51 jours d’achats pour les délais fournisseurs. Ils sont stables depuis 2014 pour les premiers, et depuis 2016 pour les seconds. En 2018, Le solde du crédit interentreprises se dégrade d’une journée, à 12 jours de chiffre d’affaires, mais il reste dans sa moyenne de longue période. Des disparités sectorielles importantes se perpétuent, qui s’expliquent notamment par la position des entreprises dans la chaîne de valeur. Les retards de paiement moyens persistent et leur réduction semble se heurter à des rigidités structurelles. Ils continuent de peser sur la trésorerie des entreprises, notamment des plus petites. Leur disparition occasionnerait un transfert de liquidité potentiel de 19 milliards d’euros vers les petites et moyennes entreprises (PME), dont 11 milliards en provenance des grandes entreprises.
