Liens entre les flux de capitaux et le développement financier : une revue de la littérature

Abstract

Paradoxalement, les pays industrialisés tendent à être des importateurs nets de capitaux. Un stade de développement financier relativement plus avancé pourrait expliquer ce phénomène. La liberté de mouvements des capitaux risque de rendre permanentes ces différences de développement financier entre pays. Les liens de causalité théoriques sont cependant difficiles à mettre en évidence sur le plan empirique.
