Marshall-Lernerovi uslovi i njihove ekonomskopolitičke implikacije

Abstract

Marshall-Lernerovi uslovi su najpre izvedeni na osnovu alternativno definisanih elasticiteta: elasticiteta domaće tražnje za uvozom i domaće ponude izvoza, a potom na osnovu elasticiteta koji se sastoje od dva gorepomenuta koeficijenta i, naporedo sa njima, elasticiteta strane ponude uvoza prema i strane tražnje za izvozom iz posmatrane zemlje. Svi ovi koeficijenti su specifikovani u odnosu na alternativno definisan devizni kurs: kao broj jedinica domaće valute za jednu jedinicu prikladno izabrane strane valute, i obrnuto. Ovako ustanovljene kombinacije elasticiteta su, opet alternativno, dovedene u vezu sa nominalnim i realnim deviznim kursom. Matematičke međuzavisnosti između tako formulisanih uslova stabilnosti ispitivane su prilično detaljno. Rezultati su iskorišćeni za raspravljanje tekućih dilema u vezi sa uticajem devalvacije na platni bilans i mogućim delovanjem na stopu inflacije.
