Abstract

Mnoge zemlje u tranziciji na turizam gledaju kao na razvojnu šansu koja će im zahvaljujući valorizaciji prirodnih i antropogenih atrakcija obezbjediti ulazak u međunarodne ekonomske tokove. Međutim, veliki broj zemalja u procesu svog turističkog afirmisanja zaboravi na izvorne vrijednosti i oskudnost resursne osnove kojoj treba pružiti održivi razvoj. Gdje je Bosna i Hercegovina (BiH) na putu održivog upravljanja turizmom, i kakav institucionalni okvir za ovu problematiku ima, pokazaće nam ovaj rad.Osima toga, rad analizira mogućnosti inkorporiranja komparativnih indikatora Evropske komisije za održivi turizam na turističku privredu BiH.
