Abstract

Oktobar je mesec koji ekonomisti nestrpljivo čekaju imajući u vidu da se u to vreme dodeljuje Nobelova nagrada. Ove godine, dobitnik je profesor Ričard Taler za svoje doprinose bihevioralnoj ekonomiji, a posebno bihevioralnim finansijama. Otuda i potreba da se osvrnemo na stvaralaštvo ovog ekonomiste. Prvi deo rada preglednog je karaktera i ima cilj da analizira glavne Talerove doprinose koji su klasifikovani prema kriterijumu koji je formirala sama komisija za dodelu nagrade. Drugi deo rada predstavlja kritički osvrt na koncept libertarijanskog paternalizma koji po mišljenju autora predstavlja iskorak ka socijalističkim idejama. Štaviše, Talerova teorija podsticaja (nudging) nosi sa sobom sve opasnosti takozvanog „inžinjerskog pristupa“ u društvenoj nauci, što se pokušava argumentovati iz ugla austrijske, ali i neoklasične ekonomije. Imajući u vidu uspeh prevoda Kanemanove knjige „Misliti, brzo i sporo“, ovaj članak ujedno predstavlja i poziv izdavačima da prevedu neku od knjiga iz opusa Ričarda Talera.
