Abstract

El sector financiero colombiano registr� una r�pida tasa de crecimiento durante el per�odo 1970-1978. De acuerdo con las cifras de las cuentas nacionales, el �rea de las finanzas creci� a un ritmo que dobl� el resto de la econom�a.El prop�sito del presente documento es el de analizar algunas facetas de este fen�meno en la econom�a colombiana, las cuales han adquirido importancia en los a�os recientes y, en algunos casos, a�n persisten.
