La Contribución de la Infraestructura a la actividad Económica en Colombia 1950 - 1994

Abstract

El estado de la infraestructura en Colombia es, según la sabiduría convencional, el principal obstáculo del crecimiento económico en el actual modelo de desarrollo. Todos los documentos que se han realizado sobre la competitividad del aparato reproductivo colombiano, así como sobre sus posibilidades futuras, hacen referencia a este punto. El presente trabajo analiza, desde una perspectiva económica, la problemática de la infraestructura en Colombia. Los resultados obtenidos permiten establecer una estrecha relación de largo plazo entre el crecimiento del producto y la inversión en infraestructura, y reiteran la importancia de invertir en infraestructura para aumentar el aparato productivo.
