La evolución del empleo y del paro en el primer trimestre de 2022, según la Encuesta de Población Activa

Abstract

Según la Encuesta de Población Activa, el empleo mantuvo un elevado dinamismo en el primer trimestre del año, con un aumento interanual del 4,6 %, tras el 4,3 % del cuarto trimestre de 2021. En términos trimestrales desestacionalizados, el empleo avanzó un 1,1 %, una décima menos que en el trimestre pasado. Por ramas de actividad, en términos interanuales, el empleo se aceleró en la construcción y las ramas de servicios, mientras que mostró una moderación en la agricultura y la industria. La población activa repuntó en los tres primeros meses del año, con un incremento interanual del 1,7 %, lo que dio lugar a un aumento de la tasa de actividad de hasta el 58,5 %. Este repunte de la población activa moderó el ritmo de descenso interanual del desempleo, y la tasa de paro se situó en el 13,6 % de la población activa, 2,3 pp por debajo de la de hace un año.
