La Balanza de Pagos y la Posición de Inversión Internacional de España en 2016

Abstract

Según la estadística de Balanza de Pagos, en 2016 la economía española volvió a presentar una capacidad de financiación. La ampliación del superávit de la balanza por cuenta corriente fue reflejo principalmente de la disminución del déficit comercial, impulsada por el descenso de la factura energética y el aumento del superávit en la balanza de servicios. La Posición de Inversión Internacional (PII) deudora neta de la economía española, en términos del PIB, volvió a reducirse por segundo año consecutivo, ya que la capacidad de financiación que presentó la nación y la expansión del PIB compensaron el ligero impacto negativo que los efectos de valoración y otros ajustes tuvieron sobre este indicador.
