Renegociaciones de deuda con acreedores oficiales: los casos recientes de Argentina y Cuba

Abstract

Este artículo ilustra la complejidad que pueden llegar a presentar las renegociaciones de deuda externa de deudores soberanos, con dos ejemplos recientes. Por un lado, la renegociación de Argentina con el Club de París y, por otro, la de Cuba con el Grupo de Acreedores de Cuba. Se analizan igualmente el enfoque y la trayectoria del Club de París, que este año cumple su sesenta aniversario. Finalmente, se reflexiona sobre los procesos de reestructuración de deuda externa y sobre el papel que desempeña el FMI en ellos.
