Abstract

Multicultural education is an educational approach aimed at fostering equity and inclusivity among students from diverse cultural backgrounds. Its primary goals include promoting inclusivity, ensuring that all students feel valued and respected, and enhancing cultural awareness to develop empathy and interpersonal skills. This approach prepares students for a globalized society by equipping them with essential competencies such as critical thinking and intercultural communication. Additionally, multicultural education challenges biases and stereotypes, encouraging students to critically examine societal norms and advocate for social justice. By implementing these strategies, multicultural education not only creates a conducive learning environment but also empowers students to thrive in an increasingly interconnected world.
