A startupok helyzete a közép- és kelet-európai piacgazdaságokban

Abstract

A tanulmány a startupok működését vizsgálja a közép- és kelet-európai piacgazdaságokban. Alapfeltevésünk szerint az egyes országok intézményi környezete jelentős hatást gyakorol a startupalapítási hajlandóságra, valamint a már meglévő startupok vándorlására. Ennek megfelelően a kapitalizmusvariációk (VoC) elmélete alapján keresünk magyarázatot a startup-ökoszisztémák eltéréseire. A tanulmányban alkalmazott módszertan szakirodalom-feldolgozás, melyet statisztikai elemzések egészítenek ki. Eredményeink alapján a visegrádi országok startup-ökoszisztémáit leginkább a külföldi működő tőkére (FDI) alapuló növekedési modell, valamint a kevésbé támogató intézményi légkör korlátozza. Ennek következtében Lengyelország kivételével a visegrádi országokat a startupalapítók elvándorlása jellemzi. Mivel az intézményi rendszer átalakítása rendszerint hosszabb időt vesz igénybe, így rövid és középtávon megoldást a startupötletek inkubációja, a megfelelő képzés és mentorálás jelenthet
