A közlekedési infrastruktúra és a területi fejlődés kapcsolata

Abstract

Az infrastruktúra, azon belül is a közlekedési infrastruktúra a gazdasági tevékenységek egyik fontos tényezője. De mi adja a fontosságát? Általánosan elismert tény, hogy az infrastruktúra alapot jelent a gazdaság és a társadalom folyamatainak. Az infrastruktúra hiánya vagy problémái komoly veszélyeket jelenthetnek egyes régiók számára. Eredményezhetik például a tőkeáramlás és más erőforrások mozgásának lelassulását, termelésük nehézkessé válását, vagy éppen az adott régió elszigetelődését, amennyiben közlekedési infrastruktúráról van szó. A tanulmány először bemutatja, a következő nagyobb gondolat előtt bevezetésként, hogy mit nevezünk infrastruktúrának, milyen elemei vannak, és hogy milyen szerepe van a közlekedési infrastruktúrának a gazdaság fejlődésében. Ezután sor kerül az Európai Unió közlekedéssel kapcsolatos politikájának bemutatására, különös tekintettel a TEN-T hálózatra.
