Conectar para incluir: ¿cuáles son las brechas de alfabetización digital en Perú?

Abstract

Las tecnologías digitales son recursos que “generan, procesan y almacenan información” y desempeñan un papel fundamental en el progreso social humano. Sin embargo, según el Programa para la Evaluación Internacional de Competencias de Adultos, entre 2017 y 2018, solo el 7% de los peruanos de 16 a 65 años era competente en la resolución de problemas tecnológicos, mientras que el 44% no superó la evaluación básica. En ese sentido, cabe preguntarnos: ¿cuál es la situación actual de las brechas digitales en Perú y cómo han venido evolucionando en la última década? Así, esta investigación identificará los patrones que caracterizan las disparidades digitales que enfrentan los distintos grupos demográficos, enfocándonos en el uso de internet y dispositivos digitales, y en cómo las personas se apropian de las tecnologías digitales mediante su uso.
